The term “RE therapeutic device (Reducing Electron therapeutic device),” as used on this site, is RELTEC’s internal term for all RELTEC products that have a “transcutaneous electron supply function” for antioxidant purposes. “RE therapy (Reducing Electron therapy)” means “transcutaneous electron therapy.” There are two types of RE therapeutic devices:
- Product certified as medical device for professionals in Japan
- Electron supply device (non-medical device)
“Oxidized” means that electrons are removed, and “reduced” means that electrons are given. For this reason, RELTEC positions RE therapy as an antioxidant therapy.
Oxidation is the most important cause of aging and one of the causes of various diseases. The human body is constantly exposed to oxidative stress, so reducing it is the key to healthy longevity. RELTEC has been developing and improving technology and products for over 30 years, aiming to promote the healthy longevity of people worldwide.
